Well, being a chocolate lover, I had to mention this.
Next day we all reported the Worli Tower, where a welcome kit was waiting in front of our names. What got me excited was the Business card of our names - well well what to say.
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first hour sharpening the axe" – Abraham Lincoln.
Probably on similar lines, in our 2 months internship journey, the first few days were spend in sharpening us through well designed induction process. The most intriguing were the sessions by the senior most leaders of the company- Mr. Pawan Goenka (MD), Mr. VS Parthasarathy (Group CFO & CIO) amongst many other leaders at Mahindra.
Besides these informative sessions, we had fun learning via strategy games by The Board Game Co. & Designed Thinking workshop. And we were lucky enough to interact with Mr. Anand Mahindra. This was just an awesome moment, which I am going to remember for a long long time.
Mahindra’s 3 pillars – Accepting No Limits, Alternative Thinking & Driving Positive Change have inspired me as well, like many others, to challenge the conventional thinking and Rise to be the leader.
Even though the induction was over, but Mahindra will never fail to mesmerise you. The people working here are not only talented but amazing and very supportive.
In the second week, I started working with the team assigned to me on my project. This was the time I could relate all those strategies and case studies discussed in the B-school.
Well, the learning has just begun, and I am sure there is much more awaiting in future. This journey, I am sure, is going to be a memorable one - full of positive vibes, learning, opportunities & new friends.
